Who can benefit
What happens at Free Clinic
On the first Wednesday of every month you can have a free private counseling or reflexology session, and on 3rd Wednesdays you’ll experience a Levy Method that you can take away for personal use. Here is more detail:
On the first Wednesday of every month you can have a brief private counseling session with Dr. Levy or any therapist on our team (see Free Clinic schedule). Each team member has something unique to offer and attendees are welcome to experience different therapy styles, on a first-come-first-serve basis:
Dr. Rick Levy is an accomplished psychotherapist, author, and expert in Mind-Body Medicine. A traditional therapist with extraordinary perception, he is globally recognized for his ability to discern a person’s inmost desires, need for healing, and best way forward in minutes, just by speaking with them and observing their bioenergy (aka “the aura”)
Dr. Aslan specializes in anxiety, depression, toxic relationships, cross-cultural conflict, major life transitions, and pain.
Jessica Lin specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias, chronic illness, inner child healing, and family conflict.
Beth Rankin treats stress, anxiety, inflammation, neuropathy, pain, hyperglycemia, and gait & balance problems.
MPM, MDIV, CH, UMC Retired
Lisa Tatum specializes in spiritual and clinical interventions for trauma, pain, crisis of faith, loss of self, and end of life concerns, for everyone, regardless of their spiritual orientation.
On 3rd Wednesdays try a Levy Method
On the third Wednesday of every month we share 10 minutes of the latest science regarding “what works” for a specific health problem (topics are listed in the Free Clinic Schedule), then we lead participants through a Levy Method that’s been shown to heal it. The Method will take 15 to 20 minutes. After the experience, if you want to speak with a therapist, clinical staff will be available until 9:00 pm. You can take the method home with you in the form of an audio recording for future use.
About The Levy Methods
On 3rd Wednesdays a clinical hypnotherapist leads participants through a Levy Method – a guided experience that combines hypnotic relaxation, psychotherapy, and meditation – a process that gives you access to far greater mental and spiritual power than psychotherapy alone. To use a Levy Method, all you do is sit back comfortably, close your eyes and listen. Our hypnotherapist does all the talking, while you experience the Method in the privacy of your own mind, with no sharing involved.

The same services we regularly offer at The Levy Center: psychotherapy, crisis counseling, spiritual counseling, reflexology and bioenergy therapies. See More About Us, or visit TheLevyCenters.com to experience The Levy Methods yourself.
No registration is needed, but please arrive by 7:00 pm and sign-in so you can be served in-turn on 1st Wednesdays, or, for 3rd Wednesday group seminars, so that we can begin promptly. On 3rd Wednesdays, seating ends promptly at 7:10 pm and the doors are closed to entry so that late arrivals won’t disturb the seminar.
Following a very brief teaching and Q&A, attendees experience a Levy Method (which involves hypnotic relaxation) led by a certified hypnotherapist. Though sitting in a group, each attendee experiences the Method entirely in the privacy of their own minds. You can get involved in the teaching and give-and-take that often follows to whatever degree you are comfortable, but use of the Method is a personal and private experience and we like to keep it that way.
Everyone, regardless of age, ability, race, culture, or gender. Many people are able to get all the help they need just by attending Free Clinic and using The Levy Methods at their leisure online (the Levy Methods can be downloaded free at TheLevyCenters.com). For other attendees, their experience during Free Clinic will become a gateway to formal therapy.
If you wish to bring young children to Free Clinic, or someone who needs assistance, please call 301-580-3113 the day before your arrival to let us know you are coming. We will accommodate you. The Levy Center is handicapped accessible.
